Ultrasound is located on the ground floor level in the radiology department, which is next to the emergency department. Patients can park in parking lot F Monday – Friday (just past the emergency room entrance), enter through glass doors at the central entrance, and turn right into Evans Hospital. Take another right and you will see radiology is near. Visitors requiring imaging and/or records should take a number at the kiosk in the radiology main waiting area. The ticket will tell you where you need to wait to be called back to Ultrasound. Note: The central entrance is closed on weekends. For Saturday appointments please arrive at the main entrance on the west side of the hospital.

Ultrasound (also called sonography) is a non-invasive procedure that uses sound waves to view and produce images of internal organs, tissue and blood flow inside the body. The images are created when sound waves are transmitted to the area of interest and the returning echoes are recorded. Our Ultrasound Department has a team of highly skilled and experienced sonographers. We utilize state of the art ultrasound equipment and techniques to provide the best diagnostic images for interpretation.
