 Disaster Services

Red Cross volunteers are the first to the scene of a disaster and provide immediate relief assistance, such as shelter, food, and clothing, to people displaced as a result of a disaster.  Our volunteers also train incoming volunteers to ensure that the Red Cross has some of the most highly qualified, well-prepared volunteers in the emergency response realm.  Learn how to volunteer at

Health and Safety

International Humanitarian Services

The American Red Cross in Colorado provides tracing and messaging services for families separated by disaster, armed conflict or civil unrest through the Red Cross Restoring Family Links program.  The chapter also provides services in family tracing for the survivors of WWII-related events such as the Holocaust.
