Sexually Transmitted Disease

We provide sexually transmitted infection consultation, surveillance, reporting, education, screening, testing, contact investigations, and risk management aimed at the prevention, treatment, and interruption of sexually transmitted infections.

Identification of a soldier family member and health care beneficiary who has been infected with Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) often raises numerous questions and concerns. We provide consultation, education, counseling, initial notification, case contact interviewing, referrals, and follow-up testing aimed at the prevention treatment and eruption of HIV infections.
